There was a road traffic collision in Wilton this morning (19th July), causing a car to overturn and one person being taken to hospital.
The incident happened outside the Pembroke Arms on the A30 just before 10:30 am and caused traffic to queue back onto the A36, with emergency services on the scene.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 10:29hrs on Friday 19 July to a road traffic collision in Wilton. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.”

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, “Two vehicles were involved in a collection near the Pembroke Arms Hotel and one of these vehicles has flipped on to its roof.
“The southbound carriageway is blocked and recovery is currently being arranged.”
